The Alternate Cover Podcast #13

If you don't already know James and I from our existing comics site Alternate Cover, then you may not be aware that we publish a (usually) monthly podcast under the same name. And if you're not, then this is the perfect time to get yourself acquainted with it.

Each episode, the two of us - along with our cohort Rhys Williamson - discuss three topics relating to the world of comics. There's usually at least one review of a recently-published comic in there, but we might also look at broader-picture stuff, or delve into our comics-reading pasts, or that kind of thing. We also have a regular quiz segment, Obsessed With Marvel, in which two of us compete each time to answer questions from the book of the same name.

In the latest episode, #13, we review the new Daredevil #1 by Mark Waid and Chris Samnee, along with a more general discussion of some of the recent All New Marvel Now! launches. We also, in the wake of James starting to do the whole parenting thing, have a chat about what comics we think we’d give to our firstborns, hypothetical or otherwise.
